How to take care of orchids

Step 1:

LIGHT

Sufficient light Is important for healthy growth and flower production. No direct sun in the home. In a greenhouse, about 30 percent full sun. Under the roof four 40-watt fluorescent tubes and two 40-watt incandescent bulbs directly over plants.

 

Step 2:

TEMPERATURE

Mature plants accept 15 degrees to 30 degree between night and day. best provide night of 18 degree ,Seedlings need temperatures 5 degree higher than mature plants.

 

Step 3:

WATER

Mature plants should seldom dry out between watering. Seedlings need more constant attention to moisture.

 

Step 4:

HUMIDITY

Phalaenopsis need 60 to 70 percent humidity in the home,In greenhouse, use a humidifier if conditions are too dry.

 

Step 5:

FERTILIZER

Must be provided on a regular basis, A good general rule is to use a blanced (10-10-10, 12-12-12 or similar ratio) fertilizer weakly. That is, fertilize week at one-quarter to one half of the recommended dilution

Tips on how to take care of orchids

All our Orchids are directly imported that uses a special kind of moss to retain the water and moisture for a longer period. ( 2.5" small pot 20-25 days & 3.5" large pot 30-35 days) and it only needs indirect sunlight, and fresh air, avoid a temperature under 15 degrees. Therefore, it is substantially different and cannot be compared to local Orchids.

The Orchids are susceptible to TOO OFTEN WATER. Please it is very important. In the summertime, you should only spray a little bit of water around the leaf until the time due date of watering, when water Orchids you always slowly infuse one mug of cup water around the pot, until the moss is wet and seep out from the bottom.
